Academic Improvement Programs
Academic Upgrading Program
A program designed for students who need help preparing for their High School Equivalency Diploma.
The Scholars Academic Upgrading Program begins with an individualized assessment that is used to design a structured program that focuses on the students individual needs. Academic Upgrading is available in three core areas: math, reading, and writing and can help prepare you for writing the Ontario GED Exam or enrolling in a college or university. Classrooms are comfortable with a low student to teacher ratio and extra help is always available for students who need it.
High School Credit Program
A program designed for students who need only one or two more credits to either complete Grade 12 or as a pre-requisite to enroll in a post-secondary institution.
Classroom settings aren't for everyone, and it's hard to keep on track while working independently. Scholars Education Centre offers students of all ages small, comfortable classes and support from certified teachers so that they can complete the course(s) needed, whether it be in math, English or science.
Qualified Tutoring
A program designed for college or university students who need help in specific areas of their course.
Our teachers support students in specific areas of their secondary or post-secondary program. Each session is based on the content from the student’s course, and teachers focus on key areas to ensure comprehension and progression. Classrooms are comfortable with a low student to teacher ratio and extra help is always available for students who need it.
Length of programs may vary based on individual assessment scores and individual program timelines. Contact your local Scholars Education Centre for program duration, scheduling, enrollment fees and payment options.
