Their Guaranteed Academic Program (GAP) uses current, standardized Canadian assessments, consistent with the Provincial Curriculum being taught in the classroom to determine the student’s areas of strengths and weaknesses. This test results in an individualized program being created based on the level of their understanding in each subject. Often the improvement of one or more grade levels can be achieved with a single program!
The Lifetrack Tutoring Program offered at Scholars Education Centre is designed for high school students who are experiencing difficulty in specific subjects. This system can help the student achieve results in school and throughout life as they are placed with qualified teachers who will tutor them through the area of difficulty. Scholars Education Centre also offers teens a Study Skills Program where students learn effective time management, note taking, reading techniques and test taking strategies.
